Newsletter
(1) With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, which we use to inform you about our current interesting offers. The advertised goods and services are named in the declaration of consent.
(2) We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to subscribe to our newsletter. This means that after you have registered, we will send you an email to the email address you have provided in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within [24 hours], your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store the IP addresses used and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data.
(3) The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. The provision of further, separately marked data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we will store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.
(4) You can withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can declare your revocation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter e-mail, by e-mail to (info(@)xtrafuel(.)de) or by sending a message to the contact details given in the imprint.
We use the Klaviyo service from Klaviyo Inc, Boston, USA, to send our newsletter. Your data stored when you register for the newsletter (e-mail address, name if applicable, IP address, date and time of your registration) will be transmitted to a server of Klaviyo Inc. in the USA and stored there in compliance with the "U.S. Privacy Shield". Further information on data protection at Klaviyo can be found at: http://klaviyo.com/privacy/.
(5) We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this evaluation, the e-mails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are one-pixel image files stored on our website. For the evaluations, we link the above-mentioned data and the web beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID. We use the data obtained in this way to create a user profile in order to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. We record when you read our newsletters, which links you click on in them and deduce your personal interests from this.
Right to object
You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in every e-mail or by informing us via another contact channel, e.g. via e-mail: info(@)xtrafuel(.)de. The information will be stored for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we store the data purely statistically and anonymously. Such tracking is also not possible if you have deactivated the display of images in your e-mail program by default. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed in full and you may not be able to use all the functions. If you display the images manually, the above-mentioned tracking will take place.

The Google Analytics tracking tool is automatically integrated into Vimeo videos that are embedded on our website. This is Vimeo's own tracking tool, to which we have no access and which cannot be influenced by our site. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" for tracking, which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. To prevent the setting of Google Analytics tracking cookies, you can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
7) Use of Google AdSense
This website uses Google AdSense, a web advertising service of Google Inc ("Google"). Google AdSense uses "DoubleClick DART cookies" ("cookies"), which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. In addition, Google AdSense also uses so-called "web beacons" (small invisible graphics) to collect information, through the use of which simple actions such as visitor traffic on the website can be recorded, collected and analyzed. The information generated by the cookie and/or web beacon (including your IP address) about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google uses the information obtained in this way to evaluate your usage behavior with regard to the AdSense ads. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google AdSense will not be merged with other Google data. The information collected by Google may be transferred to third parties if this is required by law and/or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. You can permanently object to the setting of cookies for advertising purposes by preventing this through a corresponding setting in your browser software or by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:
http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=de
Please note that certain functions of this website may not be available or may only be available to a limited extent if you have objected to the use of cookies.
8) Use of Google AdWords conversion tracking
This website uses the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your Internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
You can find more information about Google's privacy policy at the following Internet address: http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/
Microsoft Bing Ads
We use the conversion and tracking tool Bing Ads from Microsoft Corporation (USA) on our website. Microsoft stores a cookie on the user's computer to enable an analysis of the use of our online offer. In this way, Microsoft and we can recognize that someone who has clicked on an ad has been redirected to our online offer and has reached a previously determined target page. We only learn the total number of users who clicked on a Bing ad and were then forwarded to the target page ("conversions"). No IP addresses are stored. No other personal information about the identity of the user is shared either.
Users can find more information about data protection and the cookies used by Microsoft Bing Ads in Microsoft's privacy policy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.

9) Web analysis service
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Please note that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()" and therefore IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to exclude the possibility of direct personal references.
10) Retargeting/remarketing/recommendation advertising
Facebook
Within our website, we use the Facebook pixel of Facebook Inc (USA) or, if you are based in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd (Ireland/EU) ("Facebook").
The Facebook pixel is triggered by Facebook when you visit our website and can store a so-called cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. This enables various functions to be carried out, which we describe in detail below.
Function: Conversion tracking
With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can track the behavior of users after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion"). In this way, we can also record the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, and we will inform you of this to the best of our knowledge. Facebook can link this data to your Facebook account and also use it for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You can enable Facebook and its partners to place advertisements on and outside of Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes.
If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, your visit to our online offering will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is still anonymous to us, so it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and can be used by Facebook and for its own market research and advertising purposes.
This processing is carried out for the purpose of obtaining information about the effectiveness of Facebook ads. It is carried out exclusively with your consent and is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
You can withdraw your consent by going to "Cookie settings" on our website and withdrawing your consent.
You can also object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and the use of your data to display Facebook ads at the following address: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
Function: Custom Audience
We also use the Custom Audience service via the Facebook pixel. Facebook uses the integrated pixel to record visitors to our website and their data as the basis for displaying advertisements (Facebook Ads). The pixel transmits general information about the browser session to Facebook as well as a non-reversible and non-personal checksum (hash value) generated from your Facebook ID.
We also use the Custom Audience function in the "Advanced Matching" mode. This means that certain data (email address) that you enter on our website is transmitted to Facebook in encrypted form as a hash value. Facebook can compare these hash values with the corresponding hash values of data already provided by Facebook users. This is used to determine which customers are also Facebook users in order to display targeted advertising to them on the Facebook platform.
Details on the handling of your data by Facebook, as well as your rights and settings options for protecting your personal data, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.
This processing is carried out for the purpose of marketing our offers via the target group-specific display of advertising and takes place with your consent. It is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 letter a) GDPR.
You can withdraw your consent by going to "Cookie settings" on our website and withdrawing your consent.
If, as a Facebook user, you also wish to object to the use of Facebook Website Custom Audiences for the future ("opt out"), you can do so at https://www.facebook.com/ads/Webseite_custom_audiences.
TikTok
We use the so-called "TikTok pixel" of the provider TikTok (for EU: TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited, Aviation House, 125 Kingsway Holborn, London, WC2B 6NH) on this website. This is a code that we have implemented on our website. With the help of this code, if you have given your express consent, a connection is established with the TikTok servers when you visit our website in order to track your behavior on our website. For example, if you purchase a product on our website, the TikTok pixel is triggered and stores your actions on our website in one or more cookies. You have the option to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. There are no costs for this other than the basic rates.
Personal data such as IP address and other information such as device ID, device type and operating system may also be transmitted to TikTok. TikTok uses email or other login or device information to identify the users of our website and assign their actions to a TikTok user account.
TikTok uses this data to display targeted and personalized advertising to its users and to create interest-based user profiles. The data collected is anonymous and cannot be viewed by us and is only used by us to measure the effectiveness of advertisements.
In principle, your data is processed within the EU or the EEA. A corresponding data protection agreement has been concluded with TikTok for this purpose. If personal data is transferred to countries outside the EU or the EEA, this is done in accordance with the Commission's model contracts for the transfer of personal data to third countries (i.e. standard contractual clauses).
You can find TikTok's privacy policy here: https://www.tiktok.com/legal/new-privacy-policy?lang=de-DE

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.
By using this "Facebook Connect" button on our website, you have the option of logging in or registering on our website using your Facebook user data. When you use the "Facebook Connect" button, we receive the general and publicly accessible information stored in your profile from Facebook, depending on your personal data protection settings on Facebook. Please note that following changes to Facebook's privacy policy and terms of use, your profile pictures, the user IDs of your friends and your friends list may also be transferred if they have been marked as "public" in your privacy settings on Facebook. The data transmitted by Facebook will be stored and processed by us to create a user account with the necessary data, if this has been approved by you on Facebook (title, first name, surname, address data, country, e-mail address, date of birth). Conversely, data may be transferred from us to your Facebook profile; this may be information about your browsing or purchasing behavior. When using the "Facebook Connect" button, you will also be informed about the exchange of your data on Facebook when the button is activated, and you will also be given the opportunity to expressly consent to access to your Facebook user data and to consent to the publication of information and activities in your Facebook profile. This consent can be revoked at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook's data protection information: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
